Project WHEELS provides
door-to-door transportation!

PROJECT WHEELS

We are happy to announce that Project WHEELS has been extended for another year, through June 30, 2010. It is a free transportation service sponsored by the Gallia-Jackson-Meigs-Vinton Continuum of Care to link people in Gallia, Jackson, Meigs, and Vinton counties who are homeless (or at risk of homelessness) with housing resources and transportation services so they can obtain and/or sustain housing and achieve economic self-sufficiency.

To make reservations, call your participating agency.

Transportation will be provided by a professional driver in a Chrysler Town & Country van with space available for five passengers. The service will operate Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. There will be no service on days that the schools are closed. Click here for Project WHEELS rules of operation.

Reservations are required and must be made 24 hours in advance. To make a reservation, individuals must contact the agency through which they are receiving services.
