Home.  The vast majority of us take having a roof over our heads for granted.  But for hundreds of people in our tri-county area, basic housing doesn't exist.

	They're homeless.
	Or they live in abandoned buildings or trailers without even the most basic of services such as water, sanitation, or electricity.
	Or they take shelter with relatives in living quarters that are overcrowded and substandard.

The causes are complex:  unemployment, lack of education, poverty, and others.  Read our Did You Know? page for more information on the scope of the problem in our area.  It's real.  And it's growing.
